Student/Instructor Weekly Auctions

PVCC offers weekly auctions on Sunday afternoon at 1pm in the tent outside of the dining hall.

They are not only a great source of funds for studio improvements, but fun and humorous social events (as well as an outlet for frustrated ex-comedian, director Jimmy Clark).

Students get to test the market for their artistic endeavors as well as procure excellent works of art, often for a great price.

Art Educator Opportunities

Peters Valley is registered with the NJ State Board of Education as a provider of the 100 hours teachers are required to fulfill.

It is also now possible for a nominal fee through Marywood University for PA teachers to acquire their continuing education credits (Act 48) by taking workshops here.

Come learn new skills that will enhance your teaching and give your students an appreciation of the art of fine craft.

There may also be Art Teacher Scholarships available. Please call or e-mail our office.

Beginner's Weekend  May 17 & 18

Peters Valley will be kicking off its new season with a "Beginners Weekend".

All of our course offerings will be appropriate for neophytes.

This is the opportunity to try something new and feel at ease in the knowledge that most of those surrounding you are inexperienced as well.

Whether you've never taken a crafts workshop before, or you are just looking to try something new, this is a great opportunity to "get your feet wet".
