Between May and September each year, Peters Valley offers over 125 intensive 2-5 day workshops in Blacksmithing, Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Fine Metals, Photography, Printmaking, Woodworking and Special Topics.

Peters Valley's summer workshops offer hands on learning for adults of all ages and all levels of proficiency. They include beginners’ courses, which are suitable for students new to crafts, as well as advanced courses that will fully engage the intermediate student and provide advancement for professional artists.
Our class sizes are small to encourage personalized attention and to maximize interaction between students and instructors. Peters Valley is proud that each year many of the most acclaimed craft artists in the United States and from around the world come to share their expertise with our students. Take a look at who's coming this year by clicking the summer workshops link above.

All workshop participants should familiarize themselves with Peters Valley’s Workshop Policies and Procedures.

Special Needs: Peters Valley is committed to being accessible to all of our students. However, the terrain at the Valley is natural and some of the historic buildings are only partially accessible. Paths and driveways are not paved. If you need special assistance, please indicate your needs with your workshop application. At least two weeks notice must be given when requesting special assistance so that we have time to accommodate your needs.
