Between May and September each year, Peters Valley offers over 125 intensive 2-5 day workshops in Blacksmithing, Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Fine Metals, Photography, Printmaking, Woodworking and Special Topics. All workshops run from 9am to 5pm.

Peters Valley's summer workshops offer hands on learning for adults of all ages and all levels of proficiency. They include beginners’ courses, which are suitable for students new to crafts, as well as advanced courses that will fully engage the intermediate student and provide advancement for professional artists. Our class sizes are small to encourage personalized attention and to maximize interaction between students and instructors. Peters Valley is proud that each year many of the most acclaimed craft artists in the United States and from around the world come to share their expertise with our students.

Art Educator: Credit for Workshops
Peters Valley is a registered provider with the NJ State Board of Education so teachers can earn required continuing education credits. PA teachers can submit their hours as independent study for possible education credits (Act 48) but due to changes with the PA Board of Education we are no longer able to offer Act 48 through Marywood University. We are happy to discuss your particular continuing credit needs.

Tuition Scholarships
Peters Valley offers a limited number of tuition scholarships to College Students, High School Sudents, and Art Educators.  For more information and application details, click here.
