Instructor & Student Auctions

Join us each Sunday afternoon at 1:00pm (during the workshop season) under the tent outside the dining hall for a fun and informal auction. It is conveniently scheduled to begin just as lunch ends. Students, instructors, department heads, and assistants make available art for auction (the proceeds of which, are used for studio improvements).

Everyone is invited. You do not need to be involved in a workshop that week to attend... we welcome the local community, friends, and relatives. It's a great time to visit Peters Valley and tour the eight studios and shop at our store & gallery.

Students get to test the market for their artistic endeavors and everyone has an opportunity to procure excellent works of art often at ta great price. Keep in mind that some of the work is donated by nationally and internationally recognized artists in their craft.
