Applications are made to the director and decisions are made by the heads of the studio, our resident artists. Heavy emphasis will be placed on your knowledge of studio operations. Applications must include the enclosed application form, 10 slides (or digital images on CD) of your recent work, a resume and 2 letters of recommendation. Also a letter of intent is required. That letter must state your objectives for the summer and the outlines of a potential project that you might hope to complete during class downtime. You may apply for a time that is shorter than the full summer though the minimum time accepted will be one month. There will be opportunities to show and/or sell your work in our store and gallery as well as to take a course as a student in an area of your choice depending on availability.
